Welcome to Mexico!
Mexico is a beautiful country which offers a multitude of different
sites. Desert landscapes to one side, volcanoes, prehistoric sites, ultra
modern resorts with lovely beaches and endless flora and fauna to the
other.
Mexican people are very warmhearted. You are being treated with respect and
accepted at an instance, no matter where you are from. Don't be upset
if things don't work as efficiently as in your own country. Everything here
takes a little longer, but it will be done, don't worry.
Although Spanish is spoken everywhere, you will find many people in
larger cities, which speak English. An interesting fact is, that Nahuatl
and Maya are still spoken by about 7 % of the population and the dialect is
officially accepted by the Mexican government.
Enjoy your stay in Mexico, this country is so rich on history and such a
paradise for travellers.
