Kuwait - Teenagers hangouts

by Kuwait Authors last modified 2007-02-02 05:43

Kuwait is very typical of the 'coffee shop culture' present in the Middle East. Therefore there are plenty of shopping malls, cinemas and coffee shops where teenagers hang out as well as at the various sports and beach clubs. With almost no violence or crime in Kuwait and no licensed premises as well as being a geographically small State, teenagers can enjoy a large degree of freedom, inhibited perhaps by a lack of transport systems, other than taxi services, or parental delivery!

Socialising otherwise takes place at one another’s homes or through the various groups such as theatre, music etc.
