Kuwait - Pharmacies
Numerous pharmacies operate throughout Kuwait and each hospital has its own pharmacy located on the premises. A number of pharmacies, usually one in each of the main areas in Kuwait, do operate on a 24-hour basis. However, this is done in rotation with all details published in the major newspapers on a daily basis (see ‘Kuwait Today’ section in the Arab Times). Pharmacies are obliged by law to charge standard amounts for all medicines, in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Health.
