Kuwait - Electricity
All electricity is 240v and 50Hz. All residential areas have an electricity supply. Electrical sockets are usually 3-pin square variety.
Rent agreements do not always include the payment of electricity, so you will need to clarify this point prior to signing.
Should you be required to pay the electricity bill directly you will need to visit your local office of the Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW), sometimes referred to as the Ministry of Energy (MoE).
On production of your Civil ID, rent agreement and payment of a
refundable deposit the account will be transferred to your name.
