Kuwait - Duty free shopping
As only 5% duty is added to goods imported into Kuwait the duty free shopping at the airport is not as lucrative as in other countries. In fact the duty free area of the airport has vendors who continue to sell goods at a higher price than one would pay elsewhere. With Kuwait being a tax, and therefore VAT, free country one cannot claim tax back from customs on departing the country.
